Care guide
A few gentle habits keep every layer soft, absorbent and leakproof, so each pair lasts up to 100 washes, or 2 to 3 years.
Wash your new pair once before you wear it, to prepare the absorbent layers.
After wearing, rinse in cold water until the water runs clear. On heavier days, a short soak in cold water helps.
Hand wash, or machine wash in a laundry bag on a gentle cold cycle. We recommend Fabpad Panty Wash, our liquid detergent made for period underwear.
Hang it in the sun to dry, away from heaters and the dryer. Make sure the gusset is completely dry before you wear or store it.

The Fabpad Mid Waist Period Panty replaces pads, cups and tampons with one comfortable pair of underwear. A 5-layer absorbent gusset holds 80 to 100 ml of flow, so it protects you on light, medium and heavy days, for up to 8 hours.
No pad to stick, nothing to insert, nothing to throw away. Just put it on and get on with your day.
Wear it on period days, for light bladder leaks when you sneeze, laugh or work out, and during postpartum recovery in place of maternity pads. The mid-rise fit sits at your natural waist and stays smooth under jeans, trousers, kurtas and office wear.
Wear it like your regular underwear and change within 8 hours, or sooner on your heaviest day. For your first wear, try it at home for a few hours to see how it works with your flow. Most women rotate 2 to 3 pairs through a cycle.
Rinse it in cold water until the water runs clear, then wash by hand or on a gentle machine cycle. We recommend Fabpad Panty Wash, made for period underwear and cloth pads.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, and that is the whole idea. You do not need a pad, menstrual cup or tampon with the mid waist period panty. A 5-layer absorbent gusset is built right into the underwear and holds 80 to 100 ml of flow, while a leak-resistant barrier underneath helps keep your jeans, kurtas and bedsheets clean. Just put it on like your regular underwear and get on with your day.
We dispatch orders Monday to Saturday, and orders placed before 2 PM are dispatched the same day. Prepaid orders are shipped by air, so they reach you faster, while cash on delivery (COD) orders travel by surface. Depending on whether you pay online or choose COD, your order is delivered in 2 to 5 days. Once your order ships, you can follow it anytime on our order tracking page.
It comes in seven sizes, from S to 4XL. Measure your waist and hips with a soft tape and match them to the on this page. It should feel snug but comfortable, like your favourite everyday underwear. A close fit is what keeps the gusset in place and stops leaks, so avoid sizing up for a loose fit.
Yes, we are here to help. If the size is not right, please contact our customer care team by phone, email or WhatsApp, and they will take care of it as per our company policy.
Period blood starts to smell when it sits for too long, which is why changing on time matters more than anything else. Change within 8 hours, rinse in cold water soon after you take it off, and let it dry completely before wearing it again. Follow these simple steps and smell is rarely an issue.
The gusset, the part that sits between your legs, has five layers. Layer 1 rests against your skin and draws flow away from it, layers 2 and 3 are the absorbent core that soaks up and holds it, layer 4 is a leakproof barrier that stops it reaching your clothes, and layer 5 is the outer fabric, soft cotton spandex that looks and feels like a normal pair of panties, with no crinkle sound and no pad lines.
Up to 8 hours, depending on your flow. On lighter days one pair can easily see you through a full workday or a day at college. On your heaviest day, change a little sooner. For your very first wear, try it at home for a few hours so you get a feel for how it handles your flow before you head out.
Yes. Fabpad period panties are one flow fits all, so every pair has the same 80 to 100 ml absorbency and works on light, medium and heavy days. If your first day is very heavy, change every 4 to 6 hours and keep a spare pair in a zip pouch when you are out. If you often soak through protection within an hour or pass clots larger than about 2.5 cm, please check in with a doctor.
Yes. The same absorbent layers that handle period flow also take care of light bladder leaks, the kind that can happen when you sneeze, laugh, cough, lift something heavy or work out. Many women wear it on non-period days for exactly this reason. Rinse and wash it the same way you would after your period.
Yes. It is a comfortable, reusable alternative to bulky maternity pads during postpartum recovery. Bleeding is usually heaviest in the first days after delivery, so change more often then, every few hours if needed, and keep 3 to 4 pairs in rotation. If you have had a C-section or would like more tummy coverage, our high waist style may feel kinder over the belly.
Yes. The mid-rise fit sits at your natural waist and stays smooth under jeans, trousers, kurtas and office wear. It moves with you through yoga, the gym or a long commute, and you can sleep in it too, as long as you change within 8 hours. The one thing it is not made for is swimming, as the layers will soak up pool water.
Pick mid waist if you want something that feels exactly like your everyday underwear and sits comfortably at the natural waist. Pick high waist if you prefer full tummy coverage, a longer absorbent zone front to back, or are recovering after delivery. Both have the same 5-layer gusset and the same absorbency, so the choice is really about fit and coverage.
First, rinse it in cold water right after use until the water runs clear. Then wash it by hand or on a gentle machine cycle. We recommend Fabpad Panty Wash, our liquid detergent made for period underwear and cloth pads. Once rinsed clear, it will not stain the rest of your laundry. Air dry in the sun and avoid bleach, fabric softener, hot water, tumble drying and ironing, as they wear out the absorbent layers. In the monsoon, dry it indoors under a fan and make sure the gusset is fully dry before you wear it.
Fabpad holds a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under IS 17514, the Indian Standard for reusable sanitary pads and period panties. The fabric touching your skin is soft, breathable cotton spandex, and there is nothing to insert, so it is a gentle option for everyday period care.
Most women rotate 2 to 3 pairs through a cycle, so one can be worn while another is washed and drying. With proper care each pair lasts up to 100 washes, or 2 to 3 years. If you use around 15 disposable pads a cycle, that adds up to roughly 400 to 600 pads you will not need to buy over that time.
Yes, when you look after them. Rinse in cold water as soon as you take it off, wash with Fabpad Panty Wash or a mild detergent, and let it dry fully in the sun before you wear it again. Change it within 8 hours, sooner on your heaviest days, just as you would a pad. The skin layer draws flow away from you so you stay dry, and there is no plastic pad sitting against you. Skip bleach and fabric softener, as they damage the layers that keep you protected.
